Tedeschi "Corasco" Rosso Trevenezie IGT 2018 - Country: Italy - Capacity: 0.75
Brand: Tedeschi
Corasco, Trevenezie IGT by Tedeschi, is a very special red. In this case, in fact, some of the well-known Veneto varieties marry the traditional appassimento, typical of the province of Verona and Valpolicella in particular. In Corasco, in fact, Corvina, which comes from the morainic hills of Valpolicella, Raboso, typical of the Oderzo area, in Treviso, and Refosco, selected in the Aquileia area, coexist (excellently). In the winery, the traditional technique of drying, even if only partial, is used. The grapes, placed in the drying loft for about a month, lose about 8/10% of their initial weight, enriching themselves in sugars, increasing the dry extract, ash and colour of the wine. Deep ruby red, the nose reveals a pleasantly complex red, where the aroma of undergrowth mingles with vanilla and tobacco from the Slavonian oak. In the mouth it reveals good body, lively acidity and alcohol well balanced with tannins. A complex and elegant wine, it does not fear being left in the cellar even for a few years. Even a decade, if stored well. A wine for the whole meal, it goes well with a wide variety of preparations, typical of Veneto cuisine. But that's not all!
