This Ultramax LI22-12 (12V 22Ah) battery has been produced using innovative Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry. This allows this battery to last up to 10 times longer than standard sealed lead-acid batteries, whilst being just a fraction of the weight. This battery comes supplied with its own charger, so it will be ready to use in a range of applications, varying from emergency lighting systems to electric wheelchairs. When in use, it can be placed any position, thanks to its non-spillable, compact casing. Unlike gel and sealed lead-acid batteries, running Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries down does not cause any damage, and they can be charged up again from flat. Not only this, but they are a more economical option due to their longer life and ability to go through a higher number of re-charge cycles. It is recommended that when the battery is not in use, it is stored in a charged condition, ideally between 50% and 100%.
