The double cross-bracing gives the universal its distinctive style, commonly seen around the countryside and farm. The tapered top rail is designed to reduce the pressure on the hanging stile. Available in both right and left hand hanging. They can be hung as a single leaf or alternatively a combination for wider entrances. Available in 10 widths, starting at 0.90m up to 3.60m. Iroko - The premier hardwood, with the appearance and qualities of teak. Planed and sanded mid brown finish. Much lighter in weight than that of Oak and Keruing, reducing the pressure being put on the fittings and head stock.
